Dr. John O’Grady has over 20 years of experience in cataract and glaucoma surgeries and has been at the forefront in Lasik / Refractive procedures since 1993.

Dr. O’Grady completed medical school at Wayne State University and his residency in Ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University, Detroit and is board certified by
the American Board of Ophthalmology. He joined Great Lakes Eye Institute in 1993.

Dr. O’Grady has written multiple articles in peer reviewed publications on glaucoma, oculoplastics, and was a principal investigator of OHTS (the Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study
conducted by the National Eye Institute, and U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services). He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Michigan State Medical Society, Saginaw Medical and Surgical Society.
