Dr. Kamran Shokoohi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Upon completing medical school at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Shokoohi completed internship in
transitional medicine at Grace Hospital and his residency in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute. He completed a 2-year vitreoretinal fellowship at Great Lakes Eye Institute and St. Mary’s
Medical Center.
He is a clinical faculty member at Michigan State University College of Medicine, involved in teaching and presenting lectures. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialists, American College of Eye Surgeons, Michigan State Medical Society, and Saginaw County Medical Society.
Dr. Shokoohi also serves on the medical staffs of Saint Mary’s of Michigan, Covenant Health Care, Mid-Michigan Medical Center, and McLaren Bay Region Medical Center.
